The rate of obesity has sharply increased over the last 20 years as a result of High Fructose Corn Syrup being used in every day products that we consume. It has been shown that Americans are consuming more than 30% of fructose than 20 years ago and about four times more than a century ago.

A chronic disease is one lasting 3 months or more, by the definition of the U.S. National Center for Health Statistics. Chronic diseases are noncommunicable and tend to be age related. It has been reported that 90% of seniors have at least one chronic disease, and 77% of them have two or more chronic diseases!
